Understanding the Digital Nomad Visa
A DIGITAL NOMAD VISA is a TEMPORARY RESIDENCE PERMIT that grants an individual the right to reside in a country while working remotely online.
Under this scheme, you may hold the status of:
- REMOTE WORKER : An employee working for a company located outside your country of residence, or as a
- FREELANCER : A freelancer working independently with contractual clients, for example as a Digital Marketer, Cyber Security Expert, and more.
This visa is generally valid for 12 MONTHS and can be extended for one year or more, depending on the issuing country’s regulations.
It is important to remember that A DIGITAL NOMAD VISA holders MAY NOT eceive income from the country where they reside as a digital nomad.
